How are online coaching like Vision IAS, Insights IAS or IAS baba or Unacademy for UPSC IAS IPS IRS Preparation?

Dear friend,

I hope u know IASBaba & InsightIndia. I am giving you the Pros and Cons of both and giving you what I am proposing for your study plan. In case you have any alternative model of getting our guidance, please propose it to us.

Well, it is really hard to judge who is better. But both are good. But none are THE BEST.
Insightsonindia is popular among many many and many.

Pros: The reasons are plenty.
It has number of initiatives which are really needed for CSE preparation. one of the most important aspect of the exam is answer writing practice- But dont evaluate your answers.

Insights initiative has become popular since it provides a platform for like minded aspirants without prompt response

BUT,but. . . . insights have grown bigger than expected by its founders. The number of followers has increased. Number of aspirants who write answers has increased. Insights is no more giving feedback. Once we were able to see the replays by admin frequently. But now its an old story. insights is not giving feedback.  They give test series to thousands of aspirants and there is no monitoring. And the approach is book-wise study which is not goodFor mains, they take very few to offline test series who must have first hand experience of writing mains at-least once (preference) and there is very thin chance for a novice who is equally compatible.
Coming to IASbaba,Nothing more to say. . most of the initiatives are common to both insights and baba. It has gained huge popularity. Think, learn and perform is an unique of its kind and all serious aspirants who write regularly are getting prompt feedback from veterans.
The mind-maps and detailed mains strategy are excellent. they give you an exact idea about what to study and what not to.

Finally, Which is the best ??Again My answer BOTH are GOOD (not best !). . But, both are not suitable to all.

Go for insights if,

- You can study according to their test series schedule.
- You yourself prepare some revision schedules and revise properly.
- You should be least bothered about the feedback (personal)
You should be able to practice answer writing on your own with little feedback if you don't get selected to their offline test series or you have alternate plan for mains.
You should be able to take care of Interview on your own or if you have any alternate plan (mock interviews).

Go for IASbaba if,
- You are struggling to form day to day plan to cover syllabus (p+m) and revision.
- If you are ready to devote about 10 hours (Approx.) a day to thoroughly study according to plan.
- Dont join it if you want to know personal feedback of every tests and on what you may improve, as Mains is a test of personality and rarely someone may help you understand your personality very well.

Now among the above both,
Try to take good stuff from both. But follow any one.
TRUST ANYONE. Both are good. It all depends on You.

But is this enough?

I was also a working aspirant, working in Wipro,Pune, and i desparetly felt the need for personal mentor like the one, P V Sindhu got in the form of Gopi. But it could never come true. Ultimately, in my four attempts and all interviews, i missed by 3 marks (when number of seats in UPSC was 296). I after this attempted MPSC and was ranker in it. But am close to what aspirants who are woking and still have aim.
Now what  I  plan is this:

You may choose any of the above tow of Insight orIASBaba for understanding of topics and subjects and material. But as we all know, rarely must be a aspirant who has not read M Lakshmikant or NCERT, still then why hardly a few get good marks?

Here lies the difference in personally monitoring and mentoring the aspirant.
Every student will be given weekly plan, will be evalauated weekly or fortnightly and regular feedback on mails, skype and Facebook. My platform would take care of all queries regarding resources to be read, followed along with high and low of study time.

" Know yourself, Know the System and Know the society " are important for a successful career- my mentoring would involve in helping to revisit yourself with locus and focus being around this mantra.

Our platform is Sankalp IAS Forum,Mumbai Pune.
Hence we will try our best to reach out to meet you in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Kolkata ,apart from Mumbai Pune .

You may take any prelims test of any test series and we will also monitor you there. Alternatively, I will also give u tests.
You may take any other Mains tests instead of ours and we would help you there too in giving you personal feedbacks and improvement plans.

Personalized feedback- One-to-One will be the Focal point:

We will help and make and also monitor your studies and as a mentor-friend will never allow you to slip back in depression or frustration that may come inspite of loads of material and friends online. Talk to us always and score well.

I reiterate, Incase you have any alternative model of getting our guidance, please propose it to us.

Wish you a happy study time.
